Head of the Anzali Free Zone Organization Akbar Niazi said on Wednesday that the Anzali Free Zone played a key role in signing some cooperation agreements between China’s Fujian Province and Iranian free trade zones, he said, noting that the two cooperation agreements between Anzali FTZ and Chinese companies can pave the way for diversifying the basket of export commodities in northern Iran.
Niazi also emphasized that specialized meetings on the sidelines of the CIFIT to introduce investment opportunities provided the two sides with a good opportunity to become familiar with the potential in both countries.
According to the official, the Anzali FTZ enjoys geographical advantages, which can turn it into a new hub for the development of Iran-China cooperation.
